Holistic Consultants is a family support service organization that provides individuals who are over the age of 18 and continue to reside with their families with assistance to access resources, transportation services, training, and family support. Our mission is to implement a person-centered approach to each individual served by promoting independence, inclusivity, education, access to physical and mental health, support services within the community, and more importantly help clients to coordinate care, as well as overcome barriers and access to care. Ultimately, we are passionate about supporting people with I/DD to successfully thrive in the residences of their family members. Services are individualized to meet the needs of each individual and their family members, including cultural and linguistic needs.


HOLISTIC CONSULTANTS PHILOSOPHY
Every human being is born with the right to pursue and achieve his or her own potential. Further, we believe that every individual no matter the nature of their disability has a right to achieve their desired level of independence and inclusion throughout their home and community environments. Individuals have the right to make major life and everyday decisions that effects their (daily) living, along with the supports and services needed to better aide them in achieving their goals and becoming more independent.

Jeanette Kidd RN-BC, MSN, FNP-C, PHN
Holistic Consultants is run by its’ Director, Jeanette Kidd. Jeanette (RN- BC, MSN, PHN, FNP-C) is a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse, with strong clinical abilities as She has delivered patient focused care and while developing relationships with fellow nurses, physicians, patients, and family. Jeanette is well organized with great time management skills. She has Demonstrated a dedicated passion to the highest levels and standards of patient care. Jeanette has worked to continually evolve as a strong decision maker, growing while acknowledging the ability for conflict and crisis management, flexibility, setting the stage for organization, creativity, and having the ability to acknowledge and follow policy standards with a professional example. Jeanette has worked in the medical-surgical/ oncology/ ID populations for the past 17 years. She has worked with individuals who have Intellectual Disabilities in the capacity as a Nurse Practitioner for the past 12 years and as an RN Consultant in the South-Central Los Angeles Regional Center (SCLARC) catchment area for the past 7 years. Jeanette currently assesses and manages healthcare for individuals with Mild to Severe intellectual disabilities. She is responsible for the coordination of care between clients and healthcare providers while assessing and monitoring for change in conditions. Jeanette oversees LVNs and provides. training and education to DSP and LVN staff. She works the Interdisciplinary Team (ID) to coordinate care with the psychiatrist to ensure. Their mental health needs are met. Jeanette is also Person Centered Trained and Certified as an Independent Facilitator.
